Privacy Policy

urlme.info respects your privacy. This page describes what we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with Thailand's PDPA and the EU GDPR.

1. What we collect

• Links/QR you create: destination URL, slug, expiration
• Creator IP: used for rate limiting only
• Click stats: country (from header), device type, referrer, timestamp — never PII
• Language cookie: urlme-locale stores th/en — never leaves your browser

We do not collect: name, email, phone, payment info, or any cross-site trackers.

2. Client-side QR codes

WiFi, vCard, Email, SMS, Phone, LINE, PromptPay, Text, and Geo QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. None of that data reaches our servers.

3. Data retention

• Short links expire at a duration you choose (default 7 days, max 30 for anonymous users)
• Click events are retained for 90 days at most
• Expired data is deleted automatically every night

4. Third parties

We use Cloudflare for CDN, DDoS protection and tunneling. Cloudflare may see your IP according to their policy. Beyond that, we do not sell, trade, or share your data.

5. Your rights

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion or restriction
• Object to processing
